Treehouse
Mic is back!

We all had such a fine time in the Treehouse at Artemisia last Friday, we decided to do it again. And again maybe! Mic loves the intimate Treehouse venue, with lots of snuggly places and romantic dances and the secret box of chocolates.. mmmmmm.. What a fine way to wind down after a busy week.

Artemisia is about living with art. The residents of Artemisia support the galleries and recreational areas and the Treehouse club in order to live in a vital, creative place. We invite you to enjoy a great evening of fun and fine music and to explore the wonders of our island. Maybe you’ll want to live here too!
Live Music Returns to Artemisia!

We have had some of the top performers in SL in the Treehouse Club on Artemisia. Freestar Tammas, Montian Gilruth, Harper Messmer, Matthew Perreault, and others. But the club has been pretty quiet the last few months as we have concentrated on getting the Galerie de la Vie on solid footing. I was thinking about having a regular DJ night in the Treehouse and I still might. But my friend Brigette Auer managed to hook me up with something even better!
MrMulti “Mic” Writer will grace our circle on Friday night at 7 PM SLT.

Mic is the Artist-In-Residence at Second Life’s Tranquil Cafe. His music is quintessentially smooth. No jarring mosh pits here, but rather a fine way to chill after a hectic work week. Mic plays and sings the greats — Steely Dan, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Beatles , and newer ones too, like Switchfoot, Matchbox 20, the Weepies — all play backup inspiration to Mic’s thoughtful, reflective originals with intelligent lyrics and flowing harmonies. Whether you’re feeling especially romantic or just need to get off the treadmill and discover the joy of great music, come on up to the Treehouse. Check out some of Mic’s great tunes on his MySpace site. Don’t forget to come early or stay late and explore Artemisia. We have simply scads of cool stuff to see and do!
